My Background

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in December of 2023 with a BS degree in marketing with a minor in digital media studies and design. During my last 7 months of school, I interned as a digital content specialist at a radio station hub & digital marketing company called Mid-West Family La Crosse. I learned loads about SEO best practices, technical writing, blogs, and branding. I really enjoyed my introduction to marketing within an agency because of all the experience I got with brands across multiple industries.

After I graduated college, I felt compelled to find a job closer to home--and had what I thought was a far off dream of finding an opportunity in the music/event industry.

After moving back home to Door County, I ended up applying for a marketing & VIP coordinator position at EPIC Event Center in Green Bay... and I got the job! As a small/midsize music venue with a capacity of 2100, I'm exposed to opportunities I wouldn't get at a larger venue and every day truly is EPIC! My job (literally) rocks!

In addition to working at EPIC, I'm also the secretary of the Underwater Society of America (USOA) Underwater Hockey Committee. We meet 1-4 times a month to discuss and implement continued improvements & standards of underwater hockey tournaments in the USA. Along with being an active member of USOA, I'm currently training with the USA Elite Women's Underwater Hockey Team as we prepare for our next major competition in Ibague, Colombia in August of 2025.

In between graduating college and where I am now, I've worked on building freelance client-work. Most notably, I've been working with multi-sport athlete Luke Filar as he continues to grow his brand on social media. Luke is currently training at the USA Olympic Training Center in North Carolina for the LA Olympic Games in 2028 while also pursuing his second feature on the TV show American Ninja Warrior.

I currently live in Green Bay, but I'm back to Door County every week to either visit family, attend underwater hockey practices, or to enjoy time on the beach or in the woods.
